There are at least 2 bands called Short Stack:

1. Short Stack was a punk band from Brooklyn, New York active during the mid ’00s. Members went on to play in other bands such as Dead Dog, Raw//War, Sleepwalk, Six Pack Four and Beer Garden.

2. Short Stack was an Australian pop punk band, formed in 2005. The band consisted of members Shaun Diviney, Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb. Shannon Hotchkins was also a member of Short Stack before any song was ever performed or recorded.
