Malval is in my opinion still one of the best post-rock albums of all times. concerning the hardcore-side, there have been a few bands popping up that follow that chaotic dissonant route. [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVQqh00hIRQ]Hexis[/url] and [url=http://severeband.bandcamp.com]Severe[/url] may also be worth a check.
  • Malval is such a good summary of the post rock pretty much all bands play nowadays, also Shora was one of the best chaotic hardcore band. Shaping the random is a masterpiece and any new school hardcore fan should listen to it. Have a band ever been this good at 2 genre of music ?
