Just took the plunge on this one recently, having loved We Are Pilots and III, and intrigued by the notion of STG tackling a different sound with a different female vocalist. I found a lot to like on this album. It's not as different from their typical sound as I was expecting, but definitely more guitar-heavy. Not at all bad, though. Some of the tracks are initially off-putting, but I have very wide musical tastes, so they grew on me quickly. And Frozen Oceans is just plain gorgeous.

So many people are not liking this album for some reason..? I dont know why, her voice is just as good. They're lyrics for this album are deep and meanifull to. Plus the beats are pretty complex and differen't then most popular music styles today!

Don't listen to them STG. New albums aren't supposed to be the same as previous ones, and Season of Poison was definitely amazing... except that one song Turned to Real Life

It's not THAT bad. It sounds a lot more mainstream... which I hate, but I like some of the songs on it. But yeah... Carah > Sisley.

I'm completely ok with the new girl's voice, but this album just sounds like some cheap sellout pop punk. Their earlier stuff was way cooler. A huge let down, really :/

TT.TT i cant deny i will miss Carah's voice horribly. but lets give the new vocalist a chance. she prolly realize's she's got some big shoes to fill.

I put off this album for a long time because I was disappointed that Carah left. I finally started listening and it's not bad. Love Frozen Oceans.
