Reminds me a bit of the band Demonoid.

it sounds as if it could have been a track from Mayhem's "Grand Declaration of War" album. I love it.

the 4:23 solo ruins the song a bit. not that it's a bad solo, it just doesn't fit the songs atmosphere.

This is more depressive technical death metal than black metal.Still great and depressive though

@dnlg88: Dude, thanks! You were actually right. I've looked up the time-listings on Encyclopædia Metallum and corrected my tracklisting after your bringing my attention to it. Apparently K. had no intention of sounding like he sang "luhv mah niggah". ;P I'd also seen the note they have on L.fm regarding that the Internet previews/leaks/teases had a "tracklisting intended for confusion" (I wasn't aware of that previously). Hmmm; well!, I have to say they certainly succeeded with one sucker who can't discern among the Scandinavian languages! *sheepish grumble* As far as the Scani languages are concerned – I should probably work on that: screw Black Metal; the prettiest chickitas I've seen in Europe were all Northern… ;)

@Mortephile I think you are talking about Ohm, you may have the tracklist all messed up.

I think the chorus goes "Love my nigger". "Love my niiiiiiiiiIIIIigaaaaah…" Tsk tsk tsk; so anti-NSBM… No wonder it's called "depressing Black Metal". ;P

I have been listening to Shining for quite a lot of time to know what their lyrics are about, the fact is Klagopsalmer has no fucking emotion in its INSTRUMENTAL part. That's it. It's enjoyable but I can't stand listening to it 'cause I hate looking at how their experimenting brought this 6-track album made of pure guitar wankery.
