Sheila On 7Biography
Sheila On 7 is a band from Yogyakarta, Indonesia that has numerous hits in South East Asia, such as Kita, Dan, Anugerah Terindah Yang Pernah Kumiliki, Sephia, Just For My Mom, etc.
Found in 1996, early formed by Akhdiyat Duta Modjo (Vocal), Erros Candra (Guitar, Piano), Sakti Aria Sena (Guitar), Adam Subarkah (Bass), and Anton Widiastanto (Drum). “Sheila” was their early name, taken from Celtic’s which means “Musical”. Lately “on 7” added according to the 7 major scale of gamut.
at 2004, Anton left the band and replaced by Brian Kresna Putro. at 2006 Sakti decided to put off his position. Recently the band is on quartet.
