Next artist is Lips a girls duo from Malaysia. Though not all their songs are really impressive, I think it is a fresh sound from Malaysia, where people only seem to know
Siti Nurhaliza, who however represented Malaysia twice (in 2002 and 2003).

Sheila Majid(2004) and Misha Omar (2005) where the others.

Lips comes with the sung "Cinta Pudar" which is a nice uptempo song. I think they will not end in the low regions with that song, but I doubt if it will be a winner.

The Netherlands comes with a young 'veteran'. This is the first time that the Netherlands take part in this contest. Jan Smit has been a winner of the Grand Prix der Volksmusik, and in my opinion he would stand a good chance if he would ever go for Eurovision. Boom Boom Bailando is the song for the Netherlands, a festive song that will have some difficulty to reach some of the Asian public, but I think they will like his voice and will not ignore him.
