    I think the difference in the chorus is that the English one has the long vowel sound in "Whenever", but this sounds a bit more rushed in Spanish, and so some of the desperation is lost. I personally prefer the English chorus for this reason, though the Spanish verses are naturally better

    I like the Spanish version better too. In general I think Shakira's song sound better in Spanish.

    I think the English version is better but that's probably because this is the first time I hear this Spanish version and I haven't get used to it. But this is good too.
