1) Shag is a young hip-hop producer from Ft. Worth, Texas. His production is mainly sample-based, though he has been known to make sample-free music as well. As of May, 2012, he has released 19 beat tapes. His newest release, Revolution, was released through Cult Classic Records on May 20.

(2) Shag was the alias Jonathan King adopted for the 1972 novelty single “Loop Di Love”.
