Oh, what a night.
That's all I can say for WSOU's 60th Anniversary Conert. It was unbe-fucking-lievable.
Granted, there were glitches. Anaka almost didn't get to play because their drummer didn't show up until 15 minutes after they were supposed to go on. But he got there, and they played Rust & Jade. The best one-song set ever seen at a concert.
A Life Once Lost came on next. They did a lot of stuff from IRON GAG, but also balanced in plenty from Hunter. It was a good set, featuring Pain & Panic, Firewater Joyride, Ill Will, Vulture, and some other goodies.
Five Finger Death Punch was next. They only got to do five songs off The Way Of The Fist, but they made it good. They did Ashes, Salvation, The Way of the Fist, The Bleeding, and White Knuckles. Their stage presence was great throughout, and Ivan Moody showed no signs of vocal trouble. I was greatly pleased.
I won't get into my feelings on Otep. …
