Biography
Sergio Fernandez is a multifaceted, Madrid based DJ, producer and events promoter. He started mixing from an early age in small, local clubs and little by little, he realised his calling could convert itself into a career. His present style varies from exquisite progressive house to more intense tribal beats.
As a DJ he has performed in the most important clubs and events throughout Spain such as Phrenetic, Rave State, Deluxe, Beat Freak official party at Home (Madrid), No Data (Bilbao), Techno Dreams (Galicia), Kaotika Eletronic Music Festival (Toledo) Voloko (León). He has also been in demand for dates abroad finding popularity and acclaim in countries as diverse as Grecia, Irlanda, Francia, Italia, Polonia, Ukrania, Marruecos, Bulgaria, Portugal or Japon amongst others. During the summer of 2005 he played in countries like Venezuela, Colombia or Mexico in his first South American tour, also he is arranging next gigs in the U.S.A or Asia.
One of the most important facets of Sergio’s live set is the balance he strikes between his pure technique as a DJ and his ability to transmit great energy in a live setting. Perhaps because of this he has appeared alongside such important DJs as Echomen, Dj Misjah, Richard Grey, Cristian Varela, Dimas aka D-Formation, Julian Poker, Simon & Shaker and many more.
As well as being a producer, Sergio is also a renowned artist: together with Mario Plaza he has produced ‘Percussive Adventure’ (TUSOM Recordings) and ‘From Apes to Humans’ (Beat Freak Recordings).
