Sergi Vicente is a professor of the Conservatori Liceu of Barcelona, and director of the Barcelona Guitar Orchestra (Orquestra Guitarres Barcelona) from its foundation. He received classes of interpretation from prestigious teachers like L. Brouwer, D. Russell, J. Takings, J.L. Rodrigo, and A. Pierri, among others. He has an intense activity as interpreter in several countries of Europe, America and Asia, where it has offered concerts like soloist and musician of chamber.
He has participated in the most important festivals and international events, and during year 1999 he was chosen as main director of the” European Guitar and Mandolin Youth Orchestra”. In the pedagogical scope it periodically collaborates with the National University of Bogota and the Institute Superior of Art of Havana.
