I don't think I've ever had a more horrifically/hilariously vomitous first listen experience than with this album. Bleugh. Hilarious from an Other's perspective though (and Zea did come into my room to enquire what was going on in there) - I was doing little mini-screams in my room; screams of agony at the sounds coming out of my speakers (that off beat guitar upstroke is the most atrocious musical cliché ever invented, among other things besides) yet I was compelled to force myself to sit through the entire album having bought the damn cd and thus not stop myself in this torment. Sure, I wanted to kill myself right there and then to prevent myself from hearing any more of the horror/the disgust; and every new track was but a faint glimmer of hope, forever crushed into the sounds of aterpic amusical (and literal in one case) farting.
