The ironic thing is it's way better than morbid vision in terms of production. [3]

Totally agree on it sounding better than "Morbid visions". Also note that both "Necromancer" and "Antichrist" remained in their live set list ... these were good songs dammit!

V the production is FINE for a 1985 death metal release. The ironic thing is it's way better than morbid vision in terms of production.

the fact you listen to trivium alone grants you have not a wise voice for rating any albums, if you had a true appreciation for the origins of death metal youd know bestial devastation is from start to stop quality metal! go listen to some POSSESSED! itll open up your eyes to realised where their sound branched off to... not just sepultura.. but also ur precious DEATH wouldnt be anything that they are without possessed. kid.

Bettered only by what followed. ... Well, up until Arise. Chaos A.D. and everything that followed was disappointing (or just plain shit since Max left)
