Hailing from Athens, Attica, Greece, Septic Flesh was founded in 1990. Their sound was a Hellenic brand of mixed with and elements. The band has often been compared to other bands of a similar style, like Paradise Lost, Anathema, My Dying Bride or Nightfall. In 2003 the band disbanded but reunited as Septicflesh in 2007 with a different line-up.

    lol Septicflesh is cereal business. Honestly i heard of the name change before i started scrobbling this band but i don't really see the point in changing tags, unless it's 2 self titled albums of the same band, going to have to put a II next to the 2nd s/t release. Korn has people riled up about what is the proper font too. It would be a different story if the band changed the name entirely.
