Biography

Seelenzorn is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band founded in Darmstadt in the early months of 2004. The band is made up of Jens Clemens, Toni Anthogalidis and Lothar Seewald performing vocals, Kai on guitar, Peter Teicher on bass and Thomen Stauch on drums. The band released their first EP in May 2004, entitled Lebenszeichen. Soon the band was signed by underground label Danse Macabre. A year after their formation, they played their first international performance at the Eyneburg, in Belgium.

Since their conception, the band has gained a strong underground following in the German industrial metal scene, touring Russia in 2008. Their dark sound contributes to their image, and in fact their name can be translated as “anger of the soul”. Albums to date include:

2004: lebenszeichen (EP)
2005: Toete Alles
2006: Schwarz & Schwer (EP)
2007: Gnadenloser Zorn
2008: Keine Angst (EP)
