Seed’n’Feed is an Italian rock band from Viareggio, known for their passion and their melodic, yet aggressive style, with lyrics both in English and Italian language. The outfit formed in late 1995, and released a 7” split with Welch in ’96 for Point Break records. Here We Are, the first full length, came out in 1997 again on Point Break. The record was followed by 2000’s And the Bees Stole the Honey, released on Point Break and Agitato records, which saw the band emerge as one of the most appreciated and respected emocore act of the country.
After a split with the punk band 7 years in 2002, the band released Modulo 25, the first record completely sung in Italian, seen as one of the masterpiece of emo-rock music by some of their fans. It came out on summer 2004 for Agitato and Inconsapevole records, but was later re-released in a shorter version in 2005. Seed’n’Feed latest record is 2005’s Concencia-Resist, marked by a more powerful sound and political, English written lyrics.
The band has been touring endlessly for these latest 10 years, sharing the stage with gurus of the European and American hardcore and punk scene as Samiam, On the Might of Princess, J-Church, Undeclinable, H2O, Settlefish, Digger, Consumed, Cobra Gang, Grizzly Twister and Fine Before You Came. Their unique style has been compared to bands as Thursday, Sense Field, Helmet, Sunny Day Real Estate and Hey Mercedes.
