Biography

Made in Helsinki and Brooklyn, Secret Sauna Sirens are a pseudonymous, experimental collaborative of multi-disciplinary artists. The Sirens’ eponymous debut album (also released in Europe as Melancholia is the Meta-Botox) and Naive Computer Opera for Heroine and Hedgehog, are the often solo projects of Secret Sauna Sirens founder, Melancholy Maaret, a recording, video, and performance artist with a five-octave range.

New releases in 2013 include a live album of new and re-imagined sound pieces and three live installation excerpts.
