Biography

Secret Affair was fronted by Ian Page and was the second best-selling band in the UK. Their best known hit singles, ‘Time for Action’ & ‘My World’ each sold over 200.000 copies in the UK alone.

Secret Affair drummer Seb Shelton left the band after the second album to join Dexys Midnight Runners and was replaced by Paul Bultitude who played on their third album.

Secret affair released only three albums, Glory Boys, Behind Closed Doors and Business As Usual, with an Anthology released in 2003 on Sanctuary Music.

Secret Affair are back with a new line up for 2008 and play The Isle Of Wight Scooter Rally, August 22nd & The Astoria 2, Sept 13th.

Secret Affair are playing Ireland for the first time @ Whelan’s, Dublin, March 6th 2009 & The Camden Centre, London, May 30th, 2009.

    Wake up Last FM! SECRET AFFAIR'S new studio album, "SOHO DREAMS" has been out for a month now and the band are currently on tour in the UK supporting it ending @ The 229 Club, London, Nov 24th. Your last SA biog is dated 2008!!!!! why are you not up to date on great acts like this?

    SECRET AFFAIR are still going strong with a new 8 piece line up and have just re-recorded their hit 'Time For Action' for the new 'Save The Children' campaign which can be seen and heard at the Save The Children stand @ V Festival Chelmsford, August 201/21 - 20111 Well done lads!

    Secret Affair played their first gig supporting The Jam at Reading University on 16 Feb 1979. The reason I'm so sure is that I was there! I had just turned 13, and got tickets for the gig from my art teacher..I went with two or three older kids, and somehow even managed to get a beer in the students' union bar..f**k knows how!
