Sean Renner has been creating his own brand of music since he began writing and recording when he was only 18. Playing the roles of musician, producer, and engineer he completed several LPs, EPs and multiple award-winning scores for short films. After graduating with a degree in film production and philosophy, Renner moved to London, England, where he recorded his well-received record “The Blossoms of Armageddon” for the UK-based Urban Sound label. Upon returning to the US in 2007, Renner continued to make a name for himself both as a recording artist and as a live performer. On the stage he merges live instrumentation and vocals with his own form of sampling and looping to create a truly unique style of music that his listeners describe as Acoustic/Electronic/Experimentation. Renner’s newest record, “Sekhmet”, is a true work of art that creates a beautiful blend of sonic elements and paints a deep, lush, and captivating emotional landscape. Renner continues to push the limits of the singer/songwriter archetype, yet remains accessible, personal and intimate, displaying an elegant combination of musical and technical prowess.
