2) Seamless is a progressive metal band with members hailing from across Arkansas, with former members of Ineffable Omen (Austin, Adam) A Lion Amongst Us (Zach) and Judging the Silence (Micah). Influences include: Periphery, After The Burial, Meshuggah, Textures, Animals as Leaders, Veil of Maya, Dream Theater, Tesseract, Monuments and Born of Osiris.
Originating as Austin Sublett and Adam Simpson merely getting together to play for fun, Chaz Stephens soon joined and the writing process began. Making it an official project in January 2011, Seamless recruited Zach Deaton on bass and Lance Griffin on vocals. A short EP was recorded and shows started booking quick. Later that year Jeremy Priest joined as our third guitar player, further solidifying their sound, as well as their live presence. Drawing attention in the local Arkansas scene, Micah Reynolds contacted them, offering to record their full length album that was in the works. Upon many late nights recording our album, they decided that Micah had a skill set that would push Seamless's sound even further, and was asked to join as their keyboard player and additional vocalist.
***Due to bigger and better opportunities, Chaz Stephens chose to end his journey with Seamless. Because of this, they have decided to push their limits in a musical direction, and have chosen to move on without Lance as vocalist. They believe this lineup change will allow them to focus their sound and take any future material to a much different and much needed direction. They support both of these incredible musicians as they follow their life paths, and thank them for all of their amazing contributions to this project! ***
Seamless is apart of Sporadic Studios (firstname.lastname@example.org), Austin and Micah's recording studio in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
