Seafrost is a band from New Jersey. Its primary influences are shoegaze, brit-pop and 90’s alternative music. This project initially started as a solo project. A rough demo, featuring only guitar and drums, was recorded early in 2009 by Harry which had only 4 songs on it. Over the course of that year, 7 more songs were created, one of which was left off of the final album. Harry met drummer Evan in 2009 also and invited him to play drums on the album. While recording, Harry also enlisted some additional vocals from his sister Carla. Recording and mixing at Red Planet Sound in Clifton Heights, PA wrapped up in the early months of 2010 and the album was then sent off to Ryan Van Kreidt for mastering. On May 18th, “Waves In The Atmosphere” was officially made available for digital download. This marks the first release for Seafrost! CDs may eventually be pressed but at the moment there are no solid plans. Live shows will happen as soon as a bassist and drummer are secured. Thanks for lending an ear to our music! New tunes are already being worked on!
