Scuba (US) is the musical brain-child of Katherine Denton-Watson, Drew Watson and Errol Kolosine. Based in New York, the trio performed and recorded in the late 90’s, early 2000’s and gained notoriety for their undersea slide shows, gigs on board sinking ships (The S.S. Frying Pan) and misunderstood lyrics (Sweater Mustard not Sweater Monster). The trio received much needed musical assistance from Andrew Ure on guitar (Muckafurgason, etc.
), Steve Borgerding on guitar (Grand Mal, Meices, Creeper Lagoon, etc.), David Chernis on Moog (Damnwells, Star City) and Cece Stelljes on visual media. It is rumoured the band recorded a full-length album(s?) entitled “Underwater 1” and/or “Underwater 2” and/or “Low Vision Library” at Coyote Studios, Brooklyn before being swept away by gale force winds.
