Where the words are worn away, we live to love another day; where the words are hard and fast, we talk of nothing new but the past.

Beautiful, perfect pop. Sounds like a baking hot summer day (with eighties styled girls walking in slow motion ;)

Best song off Cupid and Psyche 85. Perfect blend of R&B, Soul, and New Wave. Early use of sampling and cutting-edge synths (for the time) put it over the top.

fab track... but although I'm the wrong side of 40, i have to TOTALLY disagree with burness30. Music will continue to be good and bad, whatever era it's made in!

Not a fan at all of this but back in the day this song was played everywhere and now reminds me of so many past things. Strange how looking back you do not always have a choice in the soundtrack of your life.

example of when music was real, with talented artists who could write great tunes with brillant melodies, instead of the utter crap you get today.

Nice selection of similiar artists who dominated the charts at the same time as Green.
