History
Formed as Rudolf Steiner in 2001. Signed with former MALICE MIZER’s Mana label, Midi:Nette, and became Schwarz Stein (Black Stone in broken german) in 2002. 2 Feb 2004, two weeks before the release of Artificial Hallucination, they announced their split-up. At ‘Midi:Nette presents Dis Inferno vol. III’, 15 Dec 2004, Schwarz Stein performed once more along with Moi dix Mois.
Hora is currently self producing his own music. He launched his solo career in 2005.
The two former members of Schwarz Stein recently reformed under the name another cell as a session band to release a self-titled album, Another Cell, which was released in limited press in April, 2006.
Kaya launched his solo career on 2006 with the release of his first single, kaleidoscope with Kalm, ex Velvet Eden, providing the music.

@Gisssh Long time before it called Visual Rock and i still prefer people called them Visual Kei. Glay or Biz etc should be tagged as Jrock. Anyway its hard to say wat its exactly is, VK band perform many kinds of music type together. But Kitaro will kick everyone who called his music jrock *laughing* .

@gisssh: it's purely a label thing.. anything associated with japan will either get the label "jrock" or "jpop," unless it's one of those rarer japanese bands that are really more active in other countries (some shoegaze stuff, like asobi seksu). last.fm's userbase is mostly from non-asian countries, and that seems to be the norm when non-asian fans start classifying asian music. i dunno.

hmm I think out of the 5 (AC, RS, SS, Kaya, Hora) I like Kaya's best. I remember listening to Last Snow at winter for the first time and being overcome by this beautiful snowy sadness. It made me really connect with the song and its never happened with any other song with the other 4. I still like the other projects :3
