グロテスクロマンティッカー (Gurotesuku Romantikkaa/Grotesque Romantica) was formed in late 2002 but officially debuted in March 2003. In May they changed their name to Schwardix Marvally and toured Japan mostly with the UNDER CODE PRODUCTION entourage.
The band signed with the Third Stage-based label kapparecords and released their first mini-album, which was the final part of a series of three tributes to Visual Kei bands. The release was supported by several guests and included three covers (including a cover of Hisui’s and Airi’s former band Madeth gray’ll) and their first self-composed song. Shortly after that bassist Rum joined the trio as a permanent member.
Their first actual release was their “Heaven’s Romance” mini-album in January of 2004, shortly after which the group disbanded due to Airi’s decision to leave the music scene entirely.
Their last concert took place at Meguro Rockmaykan on April 17th 2004.

Unrelated, but I really like their "Suspicious" cover. It wasn't a straight copy/paste: they actually took a more-or-less incomplete demo and made it into their own song.

v Chances are that's on purpose. His Oath-Cross of Eternity- costume looks to be based on this costume set here, which it itself was based on this Penicillin look. Sui also used one of the same kanjis in his name, and both names translate to the same thing.

Has anyone ever mentioned how much Hisui looks like Sui.

it's nice to hear Hisui's voice again, but nothing can substitute Madeth Gray'll.

@froggyman75: I saw Schwardix Marvally~天空への物語~ on iTunes and freaked out screaming "HISUI!" like a bloody fangirl, lol. Schwardix is awesome regardless of HIZAKI being in it IMO.

VIRGIN MARY still gives me the chills in the very good way...its a powerful and magic song, and it introduced me to HIZAKI...I love it so much.

Virgin Mary is my absolute favorite, even if it does have Hizaki's "usual" style ;)

I got into Madeth Gray'll because someone said that cross dresser rebel Hizaki was in it. She obviously lied, but I forgave her.

Personally I love the cover of Lucifer. It's so much better than the original. And HIZAKI is a god.

It's a different interpretation of the song so it sounds lighter. I prefer the original version but this version isn't atrocious. If anything, Hisui's vocals are much cleaner with better intonation and enunciation, plus there's better recording quality.

@experiment0513, Are you serious? Do you really think Schwardix does it better? Hizaki is nothing compared with the Madeth members.
