  • "A thinner sound than ever before"? Uh, this has some of the most jaw-dropping, richest, most "3D" production I've ever heard, and incredibly textured vocal overdubbing to get a wall-of-sound end result. In fact, this is probably the best-produced album I've ever heard. Except for "Low Times," this album is just an embarrassment of riches and probably the best album of 2011 (the year it was recorded). Light years ahead of Alpinisms. I could go on... (Really.)
  • Ghostory goes for the angle Disconnect From Desire did, which is why I'm confused; they already hit that target before, so why do it again? I would be more forgiving if this was comparable to Disconnect, but it isn't. Dance beats, more direct lyrics, and Alejandra's voice (which simply floats in her upper register for the majority of the record) lead to a thinner sound than ever before.
  • It's not quite as good as Alpinisms but it sure is lovely. Alpinisms was so hard to beat.
  • It's good but not great, I like Alpinisms a lot better
  • "Their best album (so far)." They're all lined up almost equally for me, but this is their most consistent, I reckon.
