12 Jan 2008, 07:26 by KhanadaRhodesand now for another look at my top fifty. this time, we'll analyse it by country. it doesn't surprise me at all that a little more than half of the artists are from the uk. what does surprise me though is how few artists are from australia. i could've sworn i liked more aussie acts than that. i guess not.
United Kingdom (29):
Tears for Fears
Echo & the Bunnymen
The Power Station
The Dolphin Brothers
Fleetwood Mac (this one is tricky; since only two of the "core members" are American, I'm going with the UK, especially since initially the entire band was from there)
The Human League
Rain Tree Crow
United States (10):
VHS Or Beta

Spice Girls: bloody hell that's depressing. i got into them when everyone else did really: when wannabe came on the radio and such. i bought their first two albums (never got their third one). ten years ago i would've called them my favourite band (i know, i know) but i never even saw them live.
2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22?
Kelly Clarkson: Miss Independent, like most people. i didn't watch american idol so i heard this before a moment like this.
3. What’s your favorite lyric by 33?
Talking Heads: holy shit, there's so many great lyrics i wouldn't even know where to start.
4. What is your favorite album by 49?
Janet Jackson: Rhythm Nation 1814 cuz i kick it old school
5. How many albums by 13 do you own?
Tears for Fears: if you include greatest hits stuff, then three.
6. What is your favorite song by 50?
Neil Finn: if i just count his solo stuff, then Last One Standing.
7. Is there a song by 39 that makes you sad?
Fleetwood Mac: for some reason, Sara.
