Who are you?
We’re a London based electro-rock band fronted by female singer Scarlletta. She’s a quirky mix of Debbie Harry, Gwen Stefani and Lady Gaga.
What are you up to at the moment?
We’ve just recorded two new tracks that will be released on our debut EP. Aiming to release at the end of October. We have a few cool gigs lined up too to promote the release.
Which gig are you most looking forward to?
All of them! But headlining Troubadour on the 8th of October should be pretty AWESOME. We’ve played there before last Feb, but now we’ve moved on so much, it will be great to go back as a full band and smash it.
What’s your most exciting achievement so far?
Loved performing at The Hackney Empire for the Must Be The Music Semi Finals. We had no idea what to expect. The first audition for the show was packed with thousands of bands and acts. We only found out on the day that Dizzee and Jamie Cullam were judging. We had a sound check then we were interviewed by Fearne Cotton, then next thing we were on stage! Surreal!
Who writes your songs?
Scarlletta writes the lyrics and melody - the band writes the music.
What’s your favourite Scarlletta track?
Sinful has a wide commercial appeal and whenever we perform the track the audience loves it - but we also love the new ballads we’ve written recently…
What are the next steps for Scarlletta?
We’ve got a few things up our sleeve. New tracks, new videos, new promo pics and a PR campaign. Watch this space…
