What's with the recording quality/production on this one? If you go from any of their previous albums to this, it sounds like the band's suddenly playing inside a cup. That's not some random simile, either; if you ever tried to boost your cellphone's volume by placing a cup or a glass or whatever behind its speaker you might know what I mean.

This album lacks the awesome production the other albums had and the concept lyrics are somewhat meh, reminds me of this reptilian species near the end of Star Trek Voyager. Otherwise this is a great album and Scar Symmetry has no bad albums. Also DMD is awesome and is severely underrated.

A concept album about a reptilian overlord taking over Earth....so they went from science lyrics to bad conspiracy theories now eh?

UberAnanas: I don't actually see tihs album get much hate at all. It's Dark Matter Dimensions which gets all the hate, undeservedly indeed.

Knew they could still rock without Alvestam, just needed a bit of time to get it together :)

Scar Symmetry - Seers Of The Eschaton --> This song is so good and so much better than the rest of the album... or even any other Scar Symmetry albums... Love it!

This is a pretty good album regardless of the hate it gets.. People should take a close listen before they start getting mad about a band member leaving

Albums like TUE are my favorite kind: really awesome from the first listen, and even more amazing with subsequent listens! This is a very powerful album... possibly as good as HU. [2]

Much better than DMD. Still not as amazing as HU, but closer to that sound. I'm happy :)

On my third listen now and I really think this is one of their best, so so much better than Dark Matter Dimensions. Those clean vocals are excellent, maybe even better than Christian's when he was with the band.
