(2002 – present)

Scandinavian Music Group is a Finnish band formed in 2002.
All the original members of the band played in a popular Finnish band Ultra Bra (1994-2001). During the last years the band has evolved into a seven piece folk/country group with acoustic overtones. This transition fully manifested itself with Missä olet Laila? (2007) (Where Are You Laila?), which was hailed by critics and audiences alike. Their latest album was released in April, 2009 entitled Palatkaa Pariisiin! (“Return to Paris!”). The first single from the album is Näin minä vihellän matkallani (“This is How I Whistle on My Trip”). Casablanca, the second single was released with the b-side “Ambulanssi Tuli ja Kaikki Itki” (“The Ambulance Came and Everyone Cried”)
