There was a man from Allentown who fed his son to death
He calmly watched him gorge himself until his final breath
And there he stood surprised and shocked above his tiny frame
He said, \"I bear no blame for this I only share his name\"

  • Feed me to death
  • god I love Say Anything.
  • the guitar tone on this track is just fucking delicious
  • @TravisSchaeffer, cheesefries1: OK, so I was a bit rash. My bad guys. I guess I'm just overly sensitive about overtly Christian themes in music, mainly because, as an atheist, it can often be overwhelming and unwelcome. Anyway, Max Bemis is a songwriting genius, so I should hardly be complaining no matter what his motivations. This song is great.
  • He spits so much on this song. [2]
  • really just can't get into this song.
  • I'm going to Allentown today... :]
  • He spits so much on this song.
  • On the religion debate- Max was born and raised a Jew, it's only this album that he's started to turn to Christianity. I think Sherri (his new wife) has had an influence on him. Or he's come to some sort of realization. I don't know, but listen to 'Died A Jew'. That song basically rips the shit out of Christianity, and that was only a few years ago.
