Biography

North Chelmsford, Boston MA, United States (2001 – present)

There are two artists under the name “Sawtooth”:
1) an electronic producer
2) a folk singer-songwriter

(1) Since 2001, Lee Martin, otherwise known as Sawtooth, has been independently writing quirky, eccentric, and compelling music, whether , or -focused. Sawtooth currently operates out of North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, focusing his efforts between writing new material, working through college, and composing soundtracks for independent films.

Lee joined the Futures Passed Free Music label almost immediately after being dropped from Breakbit in September of 2010. After doing so, he re-released his albums Visual Abominations and It’s Fun To Steal with bonus tracks.

(2) Sawtooth is Stephen Smith, a folk singer-songwriter from Olympia, Washington and a member of the band Camp Wisdom. Sometimes taking electronic influences into his music, it can be streamed and downloaded at a custom price via his Bandcamp page: http://sawtoothfolk.bandcamp.com/
