This is not sappy pop, this is not 'chick music'. This is a painfully honest, bones bare depiction of domestic violence and the impact it has on the family unit as a whole, as well as battered women in particular and the great strength they very often (but not always) display simply by moving on. I'm blessed, I've never had abuse in my family, but this song still hurts me to listen to. That's it's power.

I agree with elliedimmesdale. These guys are MUCH more than a "pop" band.

I think this might be one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. Absolutely beautiful, but so so sad.

anyone who thinks of them as just a pop band, dare them to listen to this. Its got a lot more substance than the great pop hits of today.
