I stole this idea from someone else. Since I tend to be bored alot I thought this would be a good way to keep track of what I listen to and why I listened to them that week. I'll try to update this every week after the charts update.

    Weekly Artists-WEEK 1
    Plays: 38
Their new "Summer EP" just came out and it's some good stuff (And it was free on absolutepunk.net). Most of these plays came from the song "The Only Song" which is insanely catchy.

    Current Favorite: The Only Song

    2. The Academy Is...
    Plays: 35
I just bought their CD "Almost Here" and it's very catchy and I highly recommend it to everyone. They would've had more plays but I had my plugin turned off for awhile :(. I love the song "Classifieds"

    Current Favorite: Classifieds

    3. Zolof The Rock And Roll Destroyer
    Plays: 30
They just kind of randomly ended up in here haha. I love Zolof. Not really any particular reason why I've been listening to them this week.

After being a member of last.fm for three months, I finally decided to stop putting off the task of doing a week in review. To me, these are the most interesting posts that come up in my recommended readings list, so to be fair, I should try to write them too.

My 'Week in Review' hero is diehtc0ke so I'll use his template to give him kudos.

    1. Head Automatica - (+2, 37 plays) What can I say? I just recently discovered this band and I am hooked. Unique pairings in music will generally catch my attention, and the pairing of a post-hardcore singer with a hip hop producer to create infectious dance rock music is no exception.
Track of the week: Beating Heart Baby

    2. Chiodos – (NEW, 34 plays) Catters should work in advertising because his posting about the band was the final persuasion I needed to give these guys a shot. There are so many things going on in each song that it keeps them interesting to listen to. I think I may continue to do so.
  • Week in Review (March 5th - March 12th)

This week was pretty mellow in my opinion. Gone is KoRn, here is Sufjan Stevens. I never know why I listen to what I listen to but from the looks of these charts, unless I was listening to something new, I was listening to my mellow music.

    1. Sufjan Stevens (+23, 37 plays): I listened to Seven Swans a couple of times this week. I find it to be better than Illinois but I'm sure some people will disagree with me. I only have those two CDs and a couple of songs from the Michican CD. I might go out and buy that eventually.
Track of the Week: All the Trees of the Field Will Clap Their Hands

    2. Thursday (+44, 24 plays): Didn't keep track of this one. I listened to Full Collapse (great, great CD that you should all have in your collections if you are any kind of rock fan) at least once this week and I'm sure a couple of songs came up on the shuffle. I wish I could see them at Bamboozle but they're playing on Saturday. I still haven't been able to see them live. I'll have to wait until Warped Tour.
