22 Jul 2007, 20:07 by DrEfficientI decided it was time for another one of these... haven't written one in a while. A while ago I decided to make a tag called songs that make me feel good and well... it's self-explanatory. There aren't many songs on that list, and most of them do not appear at the top of my charts either. They are good to hear sometimes and they make me feel great in their own way for some reason, so this journal is about those songs and how I came to feel as good about them as I do.
Like a lot of younger people who enjoy this song, I first heard it in Almost Famous. Actually, I've heard it on the radio before that but it never stood out as anything special to me. When I heard it in Almost Famous it really stood out and was stuck in my head for a long time. Anywho it's a wonderful song and the piano and those string parts fit together oh so well, and that's really all there is to it. An all around great song.

Put your playlist on random.
Post the first line from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Try to guess the song and artist by the lyrics.
(i.e.: hey, number 28 is "fantastic" by the wonderfuls)
Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!
NOTE: There are repeating artists so some can be used more than once... a lot more than once ;) It's random.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
Death Cab for Cutie
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
My Brightest Diamond
Reel Big Fish
The Secret Machines
Simon & Garfunkel
The Smashing Pumpkins
