Biography
Born in Bargino, Italy, raised in Belfast, N. Ireland Steve Salterszo is a new unsigned solo, singer/musician/songwriter, with roots in Rock, Country and Blues music.
Self taught musician who has played in a few sad ass cover bands in the past, Steve now puts his full attention into writing original songs, recording and playing live whenever possible, hoping to write that one song that changes the world lol.
The result? a wonderful blend of tunes so infectious you find you’re brain taken over by melodies and hook lines that will wake you out of your sleep in the early hours as you start singing those choruses. Salterszo has little gems like “Welcome to Paradise”, the story of an inmate reflecting on his life, an irresistible blend of music and story that you can’t stop playing over and over, a song featured on XRP, Durham and other Radio Station play lists. There seems to be an attempt to make every song available as a stand alone single in it’s own right.
If you like Tom Petty, Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne and others of this musical genre, love guitar based rock n roll, then you’ll love this!
