Sal Boca is the alter-ego of cardiff-based producer ‘Dementio13’ (Paul Foster) and various collaborators. Foster and co-writer, graphic artist Neil McCann, worked with singer/songwriters Claire James and Caroline Moore to produce atmospheric, dark trip hop songs in 2001/2.
From early lo-fi and fairly haphazard recordings such as the ‘The Traitors’ album, through to the cool trip-hop of ‘Feel The Life ep’; Sal Boca have developed an unusual folktronic/electro sound.
Their songs have been remixed by dan lo.fi and dementio13.
Sal Boca still record sporadically.
