Saint Vitus is a band, formed in 1979 in California, USA.

  • i'm coming around to wino but saint vitus is 100% less fun without reagers. the man is a consummate genius
  • Wino and Reagers both great, but as for me Saint Vitus with Wino is "right" Saint Vitus.
  • Too bad the only good release was with Reagers.
  • Die Healing is way underrated.
  • Pentagram, Saint Vitus & Trouble... the holy trinity of american doom metal.
  • sewertroll>> Albums with Reagers - 3. Albums with Wino - 4. There's only 1 album difference between them. Wino gets all the credit just because he fronted the band for longer. However, looking at recent SV's videos with Reagers from 2015 tour, it looks like they could do an album with him as his voice is great (at that age)! For me - Reagers era>Wino era.
  • Dammit.. I need a new studio album!
  • cant wait till the show in Moscow!
  • Would we? Who is this we? And even if I were part of this we, what would be the reason for it? While arguably Born Too Late has quite a bit of classic material to it, the other albums with Wino are rather forgotten in the grander scheme of things and while the same can also be said of Hallow's Victim (though personally it is my favorite), both bookending albums (discounting the new one) are pretty marvelous and regarded as such. The first with Reagers marked the developing of doom, but also their very punky beginnings as well as really showing off Chandler's unique riffing and soloing. While Born Too Late is probably their most known that established the band as a staple, they did develop their style well enough into something unique with Reagers. This has nothing to do with whether they made more or less material with him than with Wino.
