Sailmaker are an Indie-Pop band from Sydney, Australia.
Forming from the ashes of Sydney Post-Hardcore bands San Chavelle and The Reason, Sailmaker formed as a four-piece Indie project during the Summer of 2006/2007.
After only being together for a few months Sailmaker was already supporting bands by the likes of Operator Please, Cuthbert and the Night Walkers, British India, Grand Fatal and Horsell Common.
Despite the bands strong ties to the Australian Punk scene, Sailmaker`s brand of delicate and melodic pop has indeed propelled the band into new and exciting directions quite different from their musical peers.
