1. SAI was an alternative rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The members disbanded in 2009 and subsequently reformed as Junction Skies following their record label deal with Dead Tree Music. During the band’s short tenure, which started in 2007, they released several self-financed recordings along with one music video. Their earliest material was considerably heavier than the rock sound they later embraced, and received much praise in several alternative media outlets, such as France’s Rock One Magazine. Before giving up the moniker of SAI, the members played a slew of successful shows in Belgium and contributed the song Avantgarde to the annual Gothenburg Allstar Collection, a popular compilation album series.
