1. SAI was an band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The members disbanded in 2009 and subsequently reformed as Junction Skies following their record label deal with Dead Tree Music. During the band’s short tenure, which started in 2007, they released several self-financed recordings along with one music video. Their earliest material was considerably heavier than the rock sound they later embraced, and received much praise in several alternative media outlets, such as France’s Rock One Magazine. Before giving up the moniker of SAI, the members played a slew of successful shows in Belgium and contributed the song Avantgarde to the annual Gothenburg Allstar Collection, a popular compilation album series.

    why foreigners can't be visual kei? Yeah, visual kei is created in Japan but that doesn't mean it's reserved to them. It's like the "punk" or any kind of genre/style in the world. It was born in the UK but there are a lot of punk bands in the world..oh, yeah, and nobody's annoying like visual kei fans do..........Anyway the singer sucks <3 LOL. They should change their vocalist :/

    Just a sidenote. For you guys who claim that bands outside of Japan CAN NOT be counted as "visual kei". Then may I ask you, why is Marilyn Manson seen as visual kei IN Japan? :)
