Biography

Sabachthani started out in 2002 with the intention of playing goth-oriented rock music. Over the years our style has evolved and adapted into a much more epic and grandiose form of doom or/and gothic metal.
Mellow and slow of pace, our often progressive approach to music and vivid, storytelling lyrics is guaranteed to satisfy most fans of the darker side of metal.

Elkman75- You should try Serenades. Their stuff is free, too.

@Bromadrosis and others, there may be MDB influences, these guys may even be fans (who wouldn't be if they love this genre) but they're not a carbon copy. the songs are original and pretty damn brilliant. great sound and i do understand the female vox, which adds to the colour - think they could use it more!!! (just wish they didn't have the irritating habit shared with MDB and other doom metal bands of playing stupid, pointless guitar harmonics that sound like feedback - that certainly doesn't add to the 'mix')

they sound more like mdb than mdb themselves ;) but nevertheless, i haven't heard such a good gothic doom album for months (actually since the last sts album)

Yeah, no shit, here and there they sound almost like a carbon copy of 'MDB'. Not bad, though I was initially put off a bit by the female backing vox. Nothing against those or this particular singer, but I never understood why bands in this genre especially insist on putting those female vox in there, when they really add nothing to the mix (in fact often quite the contrary).
