10 Aug 2012, 14:43 by music_man_76Welcome to my on going effort to promote the music of female vocalists and female fronted bands. I hope you find this research tool useful to you in growing a greater appreciation of these wonderful women singers and musicians. Some of these artists are well known while others are working hard to be discovered. The first link will take you to the artist's Last.fm home page. The following link(s) takes you to the website(s) where the artist is offering a free download.
I would like to give a special thanks to my friend Ken aka Pretty-Life, who has brought to my attention so many of the fantastic female artists found in this journal. Thanks, Ken!
Please know that I do not own or hold the copyrights on any of the below songs. They are all the property of their respective artists, songwriters and/or recording companies.

2 Jul 2012, 11:15 by DisfiguratorFirst Metal songs/albums of my now well-established metalhead entity.
Fear Factory - Concrete album;
Secretion - Fight For Light. This could really be my first proper sounding Death Metal song I experienced and really liked it;
Encryptor - Rebrutalization, Everything Must Decompose, Post Mortem Soul and other songs;
Tortured Conscience songs;
Arch Enemy - albums with Angela;
Aletheian album Dying Vine
Crimson Thorn - Lack Of Compassion and other songs/albums;
Mortification - Nocturnal and other songs/albums;
Holy Blood - Waves Are Dancing album - I know it's more of a Folk Metal album, but there are few Death Metal elements. I Only liked a few songs though - such as Vesna (aka The Spring);
Luna Field albums - I was quite obsessed with them back in ~2005;
Skinless - Foreshadowing Our Demise album;
Sanatorium - Fetus Rape. Sanatorium albums together with compilation of various acts, such as Amagortis - Evil Shit, Bowel Stew - Bizarre Ovine Gang Bang…

11 May 2008, 21:06 by Champ213Purpose of this list:
This journal entries serves as a link collection of japanese artists that share a name with a western artist. More info here.
Since the old list became too large and impossible to edit, I split it into 4 parts, to allow more growth.
Part 1 (A-F)
Part 2 (G-M)
Part 2 (N-S)
Part 4 (T-Z)
How to: to create a new unicode-profile you need to scrobble at least one track. If you don't know how to type unicode romaji you can copy and paste from here:
Note that the unicode characters are case-sensitive! So make sure you use the correct capitalization.
If you know of any japanese band that needs a unicode profile, leave a comment. I will add it here to connect the 2 profiles.

theres something about this site that has really interested me and that is people bitching about shared pages. i really dont see the issue here. if your artist of choice picks a super generic word for their name then maybe they should stop being so unoriginal, and maybe you should accept it. understand that no one really cares what youre listening to except you, and you know which of the artists youre listening to, so it really doesnt matter. but immaturity abounds. and although its often lulzy, its more often just pathetic. i could be a bit more sympathetic to this matter if everyone on this site was, say, 12 years old. but the average is people in thier 20's and apparently even when youre old enough to buy a house, have a career, start a family, and become a functioning member of THE REAL WORLD its still very serious business to have your preferred artists as the default image here on last. …
