Sweden (1999 – present)

SILENTWATCHER is a / project from Sweden consisting of the soundsculptor and sounddesigner myt.

Emerged in the year 1999 with the CD Installation that was released in May 1999 . Installation is considered the artists finest work; exploring dark, harsh ambient textures divided into a dark (A) side and a bright (B) side.

On January 1, 2001, the CD Deep Space was released, which to this day is the last official release of the project. This release was heavily inspired by the science fiction worlds of Sir Arthur C. Clarke; hence the titles deriving from (the film) 2001: A Space Odyssey and (the book) 2061.

An release entitled ‘The Primordial Emptiness, Nothingness and Silence’ were announced in 2003 were for reasons unknown never released.

The offficial website (www.silentwatcher.net) has announced a new release planned for fall 2011.
