  • Yep music made from errors, that's glitch for you. I might be getting +\- soon in my next CD orders from the internet. I've never had any of his tracks crash anything on my pc, even in .wav format.
  • i got dataplex on cd for my birthday, and when i tried ripping the disc i was confused at first about all the read errors it was getting. http://pastebin.ca/2205733 this is the output of the cd ripping program i used (cdparanoia); the marks between [ and | represent different kinds of "read errors" as it ripped each track from the disc. -, +, V, e, and ! are the errors while a space represents no error. i thought it was cool how the errors formed patterns; the music really is made out of glitches! and of course, it had the most trouble with the 20th track, the one designed to crash cd players. very cool stuff imo, to actually see a computer producing errors from his work. (for reference, the CD was brand new, and when i ripped another brand new CD that i got for my birthday, none of the tracks showed any errors at all)

  • I never thought that a 12 minute song build on one single note ([track artist=Ryoji Ikeda]0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1[/track]) would be good, but this is one of the best songs I've heard in a long time.
