Rx Ritalin was a one-off side project by Skinny Puppy band member Nivek Ogre, in collaboration with Invisible Records founder Martin Atkins. Formerly & alternately called Ritalin, the name was changed for legal reasons.
Personnel: Martin Atkins and Ogre with Chris Greene (violin on "Downtown"), Jason McNinch (guitar on "And When" and "Exfoliate"), and Lee Fraser (additional programming and keyboards). Produced by Martin Atkins, with additional post-production on "The Daze", "Scarecrow", and "KY Re: Amin" by Chris Greene. Mix engineering by Chris Greene and Scott Ramsayer.
Notes: The UK and German editions of this album place "Scarecrow" at the end of the disc, with all other tracks remaining in the same order. The first 1000 copies of the Out Of Line/ SPV/ Sub/Mission pressings (catalog # cdWHIP046L) are housed in an oversized "book"-style digipack and feature the artwork printed on the inside front cover. This appears to be made in Germany, but is jointly licensed, released, and distributed by SPV/Out Of Line in Germany and Sub/Mission in Italy.
Notes: 'Dubs' limited to 500 copies; this CDR came housed in a silkscreened digipak with hand-numbering and signature by Martin Atkins. It is unlikely Ogre had any say or involvement in this remix release, as all mixes were presumably done by Atkins himself. There are no other notes or info on this release. A large number of additional rough mixes, dubs, and rehearsal versions were made available on iTunes as digital-downloads only from Atkins and Invisible, but these are unavailable as yet as hard copies.
