People who call this era of Rush "dated" don't get it. Great songwriting never goes out of style.

Hold Your Fire was one of their best albums. [2]

I just now noticed how well produced this album is. The percussive tones are just beautiful. Makes the whole album, this in particular, extremely atmospheric.

Wait, this is RUSH?! This is WAY worse than their best. It's just so... pop-y.

Just listened to this for the first time and when I heard the guitar at 2:12 I was reminded of the Fountain of Lamneth (part at 12:55). I see I'm not the only one who thought this.

The song will always be wonderful... the last 40 seconds is transcendent.

It really is an awesome song. The intro is just superb. Gives me goose pimples everytime.

Is it just me or does the keyboard part remind them of the Casualty theme music? Not that it matters this is a great track from a album that grows on you the more you listen to it.

I think this song is awfully under-rated.
