I said I played this song so many times before
That the melody keeps repeating
Growin' new ideas, flowing chords and notes
Like a mountain river bleeding

Some of the best guitar work ever put down. Alex Lifeson is a damn genius.

I saw Rush for the first time in Birmingham, Alabama in '74, then in'76 and then in Spokane, Washington in '79. Then I was stationed on a 100 sq. mi. rock in the middle of the Pacific ocean 'til '86, then I saw them again in Spokane in '87, and then just recently July 5th at the Gorge amphitheater in George, Washington. I was happy to see that they've started to return to the style in the beginning of their career, not so much on the keys and synths. It was refreshing to once again see Geddy Lee wailing on that Fender bass, they played lots of the vintage stuff and it was like coming home again.

One of my favourite Rush tunes. Reminds me of "Since I've Been Loving You" a bit.

if Led Zeppelin was your role model, then don't forget to play blues just like they did. ;-)
