1) Ruination are a hardcore/punk band formed in Ontario, Canada in med]2000. The lineup consisted of Chris Colohan of Cursed, Left for Dead, and The Swarm on Vocals; Andy Dempz on the Guitar; Mike Haliechuk on Bass; and Ebro Virumbrales of Charles Bronson, Los Crudos and MK-Ultra. They split up in 2002
Ruination released three records:
Split 7” w/ They Live (Dead Alive in 2000)
Dead Horse (No Idea Records in 2001)
Year One (Self-Released in 2001)

2) RUINATION roots descend down to late Fall in 1992 when guitarist AINIUS decided to find several fellows to play heavier music with. Soon afterwards current drummer of the band VYTENIS was invited to jam up. In half a year guys came up with the conclusion that tough death metal wasn’t something the musicians wanted to play and music became more melodic and more expressive ever since. More serious work started in summer 1993 and already in Fall the same year the band had several songs ready, however the band itself was still nameless. And then , during a rehearsal, VYTENIS and AINIUS came up with a monicker for the band - RUINATION.
In early winter 1993 the line-up of the band completely settled down. First 3 songs of RUINATION recorded in 1994 and initial gigs begin for the band.
