There is more than one artist named Rubicon.

1] An English psychedelic/hard rock band formed by musicians from Fields of the Nephilim (minus Carl McCoy). They released two albums and two videos, but did not have much commercial success.

What Starts, Ends on Atlantic Records and on Beggars Banquet in 1992 was produced by Mark Freegard, and featured two singles; “Crazed” and “Before My Eyes”.

Room 101 was released on Beggars Banquet in 1995. It was produced, engineered and mixed by Richard James Burgess under the pseudonym Caleb Kadesh. The album featured the single, “Insatiable”.

2] An alternative pop/rock band from New Zealand, whose biggest hit was ‘Bruce’.

3] An electronika/gothic/industrial project located in Vienna, Austria

4] A Hungarian progressive/hard rock band.

5] A one-hit wonder funk rock band from California, who had a hit single in 1978 with “I’m Gonna Take Care of Everything”. The song peaked at #28 on the Billboard magazine national singles charts, spending 11 weeks on the Hot 100.

Not in the same league as FOTN, but still pretty good.

in my opinion it look this way Elizium/Earth Inferno>What Starts, Ends>Zoon/The Nephilim>Dawnrazor. the rest is quite dissapointing. i don't like NFD or Last Rites and it's quite strange that Rubicon didn't gain as much recognition as it deserves.

Agreed, the voice could have been better. The same problem with the band that followed this one, Last RItes :(

It's been about ten years since I last heard What Starts, Ends. Shame the vocals still pretty much suck as their sound still appeals.
