A nice jazzy feel to this one. I heard UK Bob this morning on WRFG talking about a "new "release coming out from Rory -- "Notes From San Francisco", live stuff. Rory lives on....

I was sooo very, very lucky living during the 70's, and having three great friends who introduced me to music and Rory Gallager, Frank Zappa and Robin Trower and Todd Rungren all came into my life and could always be heard blasting from my Pioneer SuperTuner. My van was my home away from work and the race tracks of New England. Rory and Trower kept me motivated and not lonely...they kept me from leaving this world...

saw Rory in summer of '72 opening for Rod Stewart in Greensboro, NC but it was Rory that we went to see, and he absolutely stole the show from Rod He rocked the house so much that he had to make 3 curtain calls
